Welcome to Hopscotch ESOL — a place where learning English feels light, dynamic and deeply human. I’m Monika, an experienced ESOL teacher. For years I taught adults in a London college; now I teach online, so learning can travel with you. My lessons are warm, structured and built around real life — never overwhelming.

For the past 30 years, London has been the center of my life and career, and for 20 years, I’ve been passionately teaching English. Now, I am absolutely thrilled to share a new chapter: I am returning to my roots in Poland! With this exciting move, I am proud to offer lessons in both English and Polish as a Second Language.
I have taught in British colleges, working with international groups and focusing heavily on practical, real-world language. I’ve also guided countless individual and group classes. Thanks to this rich background, I know exactly how to tailor my teaching methods to every single student, no matter their level.
What makes my lessons special?

If you are an older learner and feel anxious about returning to study—or starting completely from scratch—you are in the best possible place. I have extensive experience working with students over forty. In my classes, you will find respect, patience, and complete understanding. We learn without any rush, at your very own pace, and in a safe, deeply supportive environment.
